Give candies after punches

It’s a piñata.
Of course it gets hit.
That’s the tradition.

First the punch.
Then the candy.

We learned early:
Pain first. Sweetness later.
Criticism → compliment.
Silence → love bomb.
Bruise → reward.

We call it balance.
We call it parenting.
We call it passion.
We call it “that’s just how it is.”

But maybe the problem isn’t the swing.
Maybe it’s the script.

Give candies after punches.
Or — wild idea —
stop punching.

Break the cycle.
